| Stay positive. |
[Nov. 25th, 2009|09:54 am] |
if saying so much does not help but kills, i'd rather nothing be said. time to wake up and say goodbye to disappointment.
When there's no expectation, there wouldn't be disappointment. I'm having that stupid same eye problem again. |

| I'm on war. |
[Nov. 24th, 2009|11:54 am] |
It's never easy to explain how much you care, how and why you care. It's so much easier to say that you don't care than to explain how much you do. I have done my part and best & I'm gonna leave you guys to rot for all you want. I simply detest y'all.
Anyway I can't wait for the long weekend to arrive.
This week's a break at least, done with assignmenting, at least for now. However, I have 1 pre-assignment that is to be done before class commences on 4 dec. Oh did i just mention DEC? Omg, i can't believe its the end of 2009. It's really WAY too fast, that is to say, I'm not quite ready for 2010.
Baby joce's 21st Bday!

Girlfriends = fun.

Maksim is amazing & incredible! He's OMG-Good. and and i finally watched DEVIL WEARS PRADA. Yays! :D |

| 2012 muvee |
[Nov. 16th, 2009|03:18 pm] |
|
2012 is a must-watch! Please go catch it if you have not! It's a 2hr30mins muvee but it's not draggy at all. Like Amanda Peet's acting & John Cusack! Last seen Amanda Peet was on Alot like love, been so longgg.
I think everyone else will enjoy the muvee, unless you dislike disaster flims and prefer comedy or something light-hearted.
Counting down... Maksim in 3 days time, Rhetoric submission in 4 days time, Jocelyn's bday in 5 days time, Media submission in 7 days time.
Just went for my dental appmt, think it's gonna ache tonight, changed to a thicker wire. ouchhh~
"Somebody's got a TOOTHache tonight" (if you listen to Michael Buble's new song Heartache tonight.)

| Muvees DVD-ing. |
[Nov. 9th, 2009|03:25 pm] |
|
We've been dvd-ing alot lately. Lazy afternoons, home cooked foodie, banana smoothies are quite a way to spend the weekends, instead of joining the squeezing in the buzzling city.
This weekend - Ghost of girlfriend's past & District 9.

I just love romance comedy, sometimes they make one realise things and appreciate more. Some quotes that i kinda like:
"Life, you know, it's like a quick cup of coffee, if you haven't got the guts to love someone, love them with all you've got, then you end up drinking alone."
"You've got to risk love Sandra! I didn't and look at me, I'm a lonely ghost of a man. It doesn't mean that you're never going to get hurt but the pain you feel will never compare to the regret that comes from walking away from love."
"Love is magical comfort food for the weak and uneducated. Yeah, it makes you feel all warm and relevant but in the end it leaves you weak, dependant and fat!"
"If there is one thing you learn tonight, it's this. The power in a relationship lies with whoever cares less."
-Ghost of Girlfriends past
As for District 9, it's more of the human and alien affair kinda thing. The plot's rather unique, it's not just another alien fierce fighting muvee, it doesn't end up in the happily ever after ending and it's kinda lengthy.

Arghhh i missed the Devil wears Prada on channel 5 yesterday, i'm gonna rent it soon. Was too busy with some chores and had to missed it.
Sakae on a Saturday night, just lil bro and me. As usual, big bowls with small portion servings. I felt like a mum bringing my kid out.
And after this weekend, i think my "weekend SLOTS" are fully-booked. Man, i feel like a system. Two assignment deadlines waving to me : 20 Nov and 23rd Nov(i just realised it's 23 not 30th! gawd!!)
HAPPY ASSIGNMENTING TO ME. |

| Silly and stupid |
[Nov. 6th, 2009|11:01 am] |
Everything happen for a reason, everything starts with a reason, things could end with yet another reason. It's all the reasons reasoning, be it a stupid one or a wise one. Thinking too much will only make one feel worse, hence the best option is to shut off from everything. Don't ever care for what you think that's isn't worth for. It's silly.

| weekend homely. |
[Nov. 5th, 2009|01:38 pm] |

My weekend was spent at home, supermarkets... Caught the muvee : Love happens. It's quite meaningful, not so much of a romance story, it's about moving on after you have lost someone dearly in yr life. And when you move on, you find the beautiful things in life. You will never discover better things if you're stuck there. Personally, I find the muvee alright, wouldn't say it's fantastic.

this is good patience training. Anyway i did it twice, because the first one failed.
Arghh, I can't wait for 2012 the muveeee.
I'm also looking forward to maksim on the 19th yet on the other hand, i dun want 20th to be here because it's CR&R 3rd assignment submission. Eeeks. It's a follow-on weeks after weeks submission that's never-ending. GRRr. I have not start. You know, it sucks to be wondering if you're on the right path when you're checking/doing yr assignments. It's like you might be worrying for nothing. Don't like the feeling of that.
The thought of me walking to craig road after six, turns me off. Picture hot humid weather, smelly traffic pollution and quite a long distance. Or maybe, cold wet grounds and distance walking. Boos. |

[Oct. 27th, 2009|10:24 am] |
It was yet another busy weekend, rushing. Assignments deadlines, 1 down, another to go. deadline's 30 Oct, which is this Friday but usually i submit them one day before, thursday in this case. | Quotes and i love them. |
[Oct. 23rd, 2009|02:40 pm] |
Quotes are inspirational, at least to me. They make you contemplate, register them in your brain, think about it & to try to understand and apply it to yourself. Sometimes, it's just so true. It might actually make you feel happier, optimistic & lucky.
I still prefer the quote previously by Epictetus.
The common ones I found :
 Funny ones.
 True.

Anyway, i remembered one, from a book i read some time ago.
"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." So, What's your favourite quote? |

| Creamy Concoction : Yogurt |
[Oct. 23rd, 2009|10:56 am] |
Yogurt is considered a better source of calcium than a glass of milk. It prevent the growth of harmful bacteria that cause bacterial infections and diseases.
Yogurt maybe helpful in the battle against ulcers. Ulcers are now known to be caused by bacteria living in the stomach, which is usually treated with large doses of antibiotics.

Antibiotics may be destroying the good bacteria present in your body. Eating yogurt regularly can help restore the good bacteria in your body. Healthy levels of good bacteria also promote digestive health and boost the immune system.
My surroundings are filled with people who are really health-conscious, peer-influence I guessed. But it's good influence :D |

| I'm sure most women experience those cramps. |
[Oct. 22nd, 2009|11:25 am] |
|
When experiencing a particularly bad bout of PMS or cramps, - eat a balanced diet with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
- reduce intake of salt (which can cause water retention) and caffeine (which can make her jumpy and anxious)
- include foods with calcium, which may reduce the severity of her PMS symptoms
- try over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen for cramps, headaches, or back pain
- take a brisk walk or bike ride to relieve stress and aches
- soak in a warm bath or put a hot water bottle on her abdomen, which may help her relax
